The REMWOL journey begins in Sydney, Australia, working in a family business, established by his grandparents Dennis and Sabina, and continued by his father. Dennis, a sculptor and entrepreneur. Sabina, an elegant trail blazer and enduring source of inspiration.
However, compelled by an insatiable internal desire to design and create, our founder, Remy Wolanski, decided to return to his studies, while simultaneously honing his craft in an art foundry, here he learnt and practiced the ancient techniques of lost-wax bronze casting.
Over more than five years, he refined his skills under the guidance of exceptional mentors and artists.
This period of hands-on learning and academic studies led him into the studios of renowned designers Trent Jansen, Henry Wilson, and Vladimir Slavov, where he further expanded his understanding of form, material, and process.
In 2025, this journey culminated in the founding of REMWOL, launched from the new foreign landscape of Brussels, where he now resides and works alongside his partner, Zoé.
From this space, each piece is finished by hand, crafted with intention, rooted in tradition, and designed for contemporary interiors.
